It was far from WB or Twilight (though Twilight not bad in my opinion), it was more along the category of dark comedy. Definitely enjoyable and thankfully something “fresh” in the vampire genre.

I’m sure I’ve come across this on the web where the director was offering up copies for review. This sounds really good actually and I guess with the vampire kick that seems to be all the rage right now how could they go wrong. Although I think the WB has a new whiny tween show called the Vampire Diaries. Please stake me before I have to sit through that one!

Now you have me intrigued! I’m gonna have to look for this one. For anyone that is into horror…and I mean good horror movies (marc) go to gibralter trade center in taylor, there is a guy in there that has a HUGE selection for sale. Actually all he has is walls of Horror dvd’s and vhs’s and walls of heavy metal cd’s. Its truelly the best find I have ever found there. Might I also recommend classics like “Hell comes to frogtown” and “Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter”

I’m rather sick of big blockbuster films in any category for that matter. I feels like movies today focus only on their special effects and then everything comes second. Look at how much the Star Wars series suffered because George Lucas had the equivalent of a filmmakers mid-life crisis, and now he’s doing it with the Indiana Jones Series too. Effects and action don’t equal good. I’m a fan of mainstream, but I’m simply becoming sickened by what’s happening to it.

I have found myself dabbling more and more into the Indy film arena and I applaud the writers here for doing the same.
