For the Week of September 4, 2009
Here is our first stab at a new weekly feature from Movie Mobsters called Queued Up. No, it has nothing to do with standing in line and everything to do with some cool recommendations for your Netflix Queue. It will have some great films that you can either add to your dvd or instant watch queue. Don’t have Netflix, no worries you can still rent most of these films at your local video store and some are likely available at a RedBox Kiosk.
New Releases Worth Adding:
State of Play: Available on Blu-Ray and DVD

You have to love this all star cast which includes Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams. The supporting cast of Jeff Daniels, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn is also stellar! This gives a truly enjoyable look into the world of both the newspaper industry and Washington D.C. political scandals.
Sin Nombre: Available on both Blu-Ray and DVD

Sin Nombre is my favorite foreign language film from 2009. The audience is taken on a brutal and realistic journey as two Mexican teens chase the American dream, hoping to start new lives.
New Options for your Steaming Queue:
Interview with the Vampire:

What more could you ask for Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt available for instant viewing in one of the best vampire films ever made (my opinion).

Starting on 9/4/09 you can watch this on streaming. I love Joe Pesci and Marissa Tomei in this. The courtroom scenes are hilarious. Its too bad that Ralph Macchio has not had a comeback!

Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and Rodney Dangerfield are PRICELESS in this classic comedy. If you have not seen this movie yet, you have no further excuses but to add this to your instant queue. I guarantee you will be quoting the lines for years to come.
