I adore Twilight! I can barely wait for Twilight Eclipse! I'm so in love with Taylor Lautner, lol.
I still find that the first movie was better, but New Moon def. wins in eye candy lol

Karl, go to this site:

http://hagiblog.wordpress.com

If there is a such thing as a zombie horror film he will know about it or have it reviewed for you!

As much as a vampire fan as I am, I'm hoping after this Twilight deal, moviemakers take a step away for the vampire genre for awhile and let it rest.

Did you see Zombieland? AWESOME.

I actually enjoyed this one more than the first movie. There was more at stake and the energy was tense. The characters became more interesting, and the vision of star crossed lovers became more palpable instead of idealistic.

I also wish people would stop complaining about the sparkling vampires. Is it the most original concept? Heck no, it's pretty stupid, but at least Stephanie Meyers tried to do something new in the vampire genre instead of making the same stereotypical rules again and again. Bella isn't Buffy. Give her a vamp that sparkles.

I'm happy to see you enjoyed this so much. The first one didn't change my life, but I thought it was a very solid movie, far beyond the common stereo-typing of only a teenage audience. There is actually a really old fashioned romance that reminds me of something Charlotte Bronte might have created. At least thematically. The vampire part of the story is very much so secondary to the forbidden love and themes of celibacy.

Just my thoughts! Awesome review as usual Jim!
