Paul Newman and Robert Redford had some of the best chemistry ever on the big screen.

Fair enough. I plan to try and keep a somewhat consistent writing situation. And will be back into the world of my fellow bloggers as well.

Hi Heather, great idea for a list. Miss you around the blogosphere! Good call on most of these, Lethal Weapon yes! I really want to watch Point Break again, I’m kinda having a Keanu crush again for some reason. Butch Cassidy is on my Netflix queue, too.

I’d add Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law in Sherlock Holmes and speaking of Guy Ritchie, I also like the fun rapport between Gerry Butler and Idris Elba in Rocknrolla.

Thanks Ruth, I’m trying to get back in the swing of things. I’ve always been back and forth with Keanu too. Every now and again he’s just uber sexy.

A lot of love for Jude Law and RDJ here too. Fancytastic.

Tango & Cash gets a double honourable mention and no love for Sherlock Holmes? Or Iron Man? I love that Riggs & Murtaugh get mucho respect here. Perhaps there should have been a slot for Ferris and Cameron?

Great list! Makes me miss my brothers from other mothers.

Ferris and Cameron is a very epic addition. Sadly I missed that one!

Bromance is a perfect way to describe Vince and Jules from Pulp Fiction – the way they joke and bicker reminds me of an old married couple if anything!

Some great selections and honorable mentions. I’d also have considered Bill & Ted from BILL & TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, Holmes & Watson from the recent SHERLOCK HOLMES (which Ruth already mentioned) and Dutch & Dillon from PREDATOR (or any of the characters really…man that movie is gay!)

Dutch and Dillon is one I hadn’t even considered. Very nice.

I was waiting for SHAWSHANK at number one! and THE STING? aren’t Redford and Newman buddies in that too? I also thought you have a nice pairing with Clooney and Pitt in the Ocean’s films.

The Sting is great. I hadn’t really thought Pitt and Clooney because that is more of a ensemble gathering, but there is no question about the chemistry they have and the two really do ground those films.

Nice list. There is plenty of bromance to choose from these days ahha. I would add Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson from Wedding Crashers.

Great idea for a post! Love that Jay and Silent Bob made it. I agree with Ruth about the new look Holmes and Watson though. There’s a fantastic moment just after Watson gets out of hospital that perfectly defines that awkward bromance relationship

Lowry and Burnett would definitely be towards the top of my list.

Shaun and Ed from Shaun of the Dead would probably be somewhere on mine, along with the bromances from Good Will Hunting and of course, Harry Potter.

Frodo and Sam could be mentioned, but I know there are several folks out there that believe there is something sexual there. Legolas and Gimli might be a better choice. A much more enjoyable bromance to watch as well.

Love this. I’d have Felix and Oscar from The Odd Couple somewhere higher, but that’s just me. But I love that you have Butch Cassidy up there, Robert Redford and Paul Newman are indeed perfect.
